How to rename a Index?

The normal way of renaming an index is by the following two commands:

drop index id1;

create index id2 on table_name(column_name, column_name1);

But starting from Oracle 8i, you will be able to rename an index by issuing the following command:

alter index id1 rename to id2;

My coder is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP.
I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he's tryiong none the less. I've been using WordPress on
numerous websites for about a year and am worried about
switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.

net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress content into it?
Any help would be really appreciated!
